Something Has Changed

A few months ago I sensed change was not only here but on the horizon as well. I know it’s an ambiguous statement but we only see and know in part so I announced what I sensed spiritually with my friends on Facebook because I sensed the Lord lead me to.

Here is a portion of the post:

Like most of you, I deeply desire to know God and his will for my life. This has been one of hardest Easter seasons in my 55 years on this planet. And obviously I’m not gonna go into all of that right now, but suffice to say the last few weeks I’ve discerned by the Spirit that something has changed. I don’t know all of what that change is bringing personally and globally because in my walk with the Lord, I’ve never gotten all the details. But he has given me an ability by his spirit, to discern when change is coming, so as to pray, and seek him. (Often times I first live out the things I sense is coming for others.) ahhh the prophetic life..

Sometimes it’s personal change as it relates to where he’s leading me and guiding me. But other times it’s not just about me-it’s about what God’s doing around me, and in the world. That’s the beauty of intercession. We get to agree with God concerning things that are on his timetable, not ours. Discerning the voice of God is different for all of us as our relationships and callings in him are different. It’s been that way down through the ages.

We see in scripture that even the patriarchs didn’t always fully understand how God was moving in their lives, or in their world around them.

Learning to discern and walk by the Spirit’s voice is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. And I have not done it perfectly. I have failed a lot, but it has been my heart‘s desire to be obedient to everything God has asked of me. Some of those those things have not been easy things, and I’ve not always discerned his voice correctly but I’ve always stepped out to follow him anyway, to the best of my ability. When you sign up for the call of God on your life, and determine that you will follow Jesus, God will require full obedience.

I have learned that he is not so much interested in our comfort. I’ve also learned that his ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts. And we are all on a journey of discerning his involvement.

I say all of this to say slow down this week and give God time to speak to you. We are not in just another Easter season. We are at another juncture in our age. Change is coming again. And some of it is very troubling. I absolutely believe that God is positioning his people in places that they were not expecting to go for the harvest that is coming. This world may be getting darker but I always believe that God has a plan and I trust him. I encourage you to not go into the rest of this week the way you always have. Ask God to give you eyes wide open to see and perceive all that he is saying to you. The harvest is great, but the laborers are few, the scriptures remind us-may we all be praying that the Lord of the harvest sends forth laborers as it may be me and you. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

END OF POST

Time is not linear with God-it’s cyclical-always remember that.

Over the years I have personally experienced big life changes in 3 different months cyclically so I’ve learned to pay attention and track with the Lord when those months come around.

Our world has changed significantly since 2020 and is still changing to this day-and will continue to change for the foreseeable future, so we must be prepared for all the ways God may come to us in that change. We do this by communing and walking intimately with the Spirit of God.

Certain life changing events in our world have a way of signaling that things will no longer remain the same. September 11, 2001 was such an event for our nation and so was Covid in April of 2020. Both of those months are around the feast seasons of the Lord from an Hebraic perspective-the Feast of unleavened Bread, Passover around April and in September /October timeframe some of the most Holy Days including the Feast of Trumpets, Yom Kippur and the Feast of Tabernacles. Pay attention to this upcoming timeframe and be watchful friends.

For me July has been another shifting spiritual season. I won’t go into all the details of that change but it has been a significant month in my life. So when last Saturdays assassination attempt happened to the former President, my spirit immediately perked up to the shift in seasons.

No it didn’t happen to me personally like the other July events in my life but nonetheless I knew significant change was here. One of the things I continue to experience is a shock wave effect, which I believe will trigger more and more change ahead and I believe it is only the beginning.

Somewhat like an earthquake and the tremors that follow.

I don’t know why certain events leave imprints on us, but this one did for me. And it’s not because I’m a huge Trump supporter politically, but because I am sensing a reverberating spiritual change in the realm of the spirit. Not that we can’t get involved in the political process, but it’s important that we remember that we are first and foremost ambassadors of heaven, ambassadors of a kingdom that is not of this world.

This must awaken us spiritually to watch and pray.

Like I said before, some world events change things permanently like 9/11 and Covid did. I don’t yet know what Saturday’s event has changed, but while in prayer, I sensed the need to pray for permanent course corrections for people and the nations. (This is again what I sensed around the Easter season as I shared in the FB post above).

None of us fully know what God has planned for this time or the years to come. We know in part and see in part, and prophecy in part, but we don’t have the full picture. Even so, I encourage you to pray with the Spirit and pray with understanding as you listen for his voice.

And also pray for spiritual discernment and guidance in the decisions that you make in the days ahead. God may want to shift your course to follow him in a new direction.

Stay in The Scriptures

As I sought the Lord for a scripture to pray this past weekend, these two stood out:

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.” Psalms‬ ‭19‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭1‬-‭6‬, ‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Firstly I admonish you to stay prayerful for prayer gives us breath and strength and we need strength for the days ahead. And let us also stay connected to Jesus by attuning our hearts to His words in the sacred text- for his Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

Secondly, I encourage you to back up and read the entirety of this chapter in Psalms 19 for …

Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.” Psalms‬ ‭19‬:‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This entire chapter is wisdom for us now-as well as Psalms 24 and 91. Pray these scriptures often.

“The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters. Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah” Psalms‬ ‭24‬:‭1‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

While we move into the second half of this year, we must guard our hearts with all diligence as the holy scriptures remind us. We must guard our tongues and keep our lips from evil. And we must pick up our crosses daily and follow Jesus wherever he is going in the Earth, for he is still involved in the affairs of this world.

Like I said, I don’t know what I don’t know about the months ahead, but I know something has changed. And I know we are to be watchful and prayerful in the days and months ahead.

Grace and peace to you,

DANA
