Oh the blood of Jesus it washes white as snow.
This month look at the candy cane and remember that the stripes Jesus bore for you was to cleanse you and establish his covenant with you.
Isaiah 53: 3-5 He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
REDEEM THIS SEASON AND REMEMBER JESUS
God moves in times and seasons and his Word gives us great clarity and understanding that helps us move with him. In this season God is wanting to establish you in a new way. He is wanting to establish his covenant with you in a new way. He is wanting you to trust him in a new way and be secure in him as he further establishes his covenant with you through his blood sacrifice.
This is a month to also get healed from all insecurity so God can move through you and take you into 20/20 and beyond into a new place, healed and whole. Where is your new place? What is the purpose of this new place? Is it a job he is relocating you to? Is it a ministry or your identity and calling he is wanting to further solidify and establish? Is it a new state or a new region he is moving you to? Where does God want to take you? What has he been speaking to you over the last month, year or even the last decade, preparing you for, that you need to get established in this month?
Right now this month of December God wants to take you into new level of rest and trust where you rely solely on him, recounting every promise he has spoken to you. He wants you coming into a place of such confident trust and reliance on him where you recognize his authority in your life through his blood covenant and trust in it. He wants you overcoming every giant standing in front of you, who is questioning his covenant and power, and even your past wrongs, as you move into this new place. Jesus doesn't want you to continue wrestling over and over with the same ole issues, struggles, soul issues and patterns of the last decade, so let his blood work in you today.
This month is also a great time to take stock in who needs to go with you into a new year. But this year we are entering a whole new decade, so take time this month to reflect on who that may be as you look over this last year and cut your losses where this is concerned. Some relationships that were severed need to stay severed, while other relationships God may reconcile or restore. Spend time praying and asking God to make this clear to you this month, so you know how to proceed into 20/20.
Last month historically was the month of the great flood where Noah built the ark. At the end of the flood God established covenant with Noah and promised to never allow that sort of devastation to arise again in the earth.
Genesis 9:9-17 “I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.” And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.
Spend time this month soaking in the blood of Jesus for the healing you need, taking communion often. Ask God to never allow the devastation you experienced to ever arise over you again. Trauma, sin and pain plants seedbeds in our souls that leave us broken and open to future attack. Send the blood of Jesus into your soul to flush out and cleanse you from all residue associated with that pain and trauma. Also remember your covenant with the Lord and take time rehearsing all the things he has promised you through his covenant.
Take time to rewind the last decade only through the blood of Jesus. Never view your past outside of the blood or you will be open to deception. Be thankful and praise God for all the times and ways he has brought you through the devastating floods of life. Allow his peace and tranquility to settle over you, even if you are in present conflict.
Pay attention to your dreams this month as God will draw things out of you through visions and dreams. If trauma still resides in your soul it may come out in your night season. This is a time to use the blood of Jesus as a weapon against soul trauma, and it will be key for you this month. It is a great mystery that we must continue to steward in every season of life. The blood will heal you of pain and trauma of old season and of old memories, so please do not underestimate the need to daily apply the blood to your memory recalls, your heart, you mind and your emotions. Also take some time to review your sleeping patterns with the Lord this month and allow the Lord to show you anything that needs to SHIFT as you move into 20/20-you may need a reset in this area.
Hebrews 10:19-23- Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
