HIS WILL BEING MADE MANIFEST IN YOUR LIFE, WILL REQUIRE A MENTAL SOFTWARE UPDATE AND CHANGE IN YOUR THINKING!

We all know that God’s purpose and plans for our lives is made known to us through his WORD, the Holy Scriptures. Today as I spent time with the Lord in his Word, I sensed he was highlighting the word-WILL.
He led me to read again many of the promises he has highlighted to me in this season of my life. As I read the Scriptures the word WILL jumped off the page. I found this definition to fit what I was sensing.
1. The MENTAL FACULTY by which one DELIBERATELY CHOOSES or decides upon a course of action:
2. A desire, purpose, or determination, especially of one in authority.
I saw definition #1 as my part to mentally and deliberately choose a course of action which lines up with his will from the word. I saw definition # 2 as God’s purpose and determination as one who is the supreme authority in my life.
I concluded that Both parts of the equation are required for the desired result.
This is a spirit, soul and body decision.
I share this transparently with you today because I sensed for me there is a thought process I must deliberately choose as a course of action to see his WILL COME TO EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. His WILL requires me to think differently.
But how do I obtain this upgrade in my thinking?
First I must present my body to him as a living sacrifice, as this is spiritual worship the Bible says.
Then I exercise my WILL (In my soul) to follow the leads the Holy Spirit presents to me as I daily commune with him. Offering my mind, will, emotions and my body as a living sacrifice.
We make deliberate choices every day to either explore the depths of selfish desires and all works of the flesh or the things of the spirit, of light and of God. The choice is ours.
Discerning his WILL comes next as we partner with him in this UPGRADE in thinking.
I don’t fully understand what this looks like for everyone but I have personally experienced this upgrade at different points of transition in my life.
I know that as my mind STAYS on him, he leads me to peace and pathways of thinking that results in the upgrade needed to transform me. I am and am becoming more like him.
“Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect WILL of God.” Romans 12:1-2 HCSB
I truly believe our mindsets and ways of thinking (not just WHAT we think but HOW we think) are powerful enough to bring about change when we deliberately WILL our thoughts in the right direction, by HOLY SPIRIT at work in us leading and guiding us.
WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST!
So today I’m asking God for an upgrade in my thinking, so I can partner in seeing HIS WISDOM & WILL MANIFEST IN MY LIFE!
“Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
“Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God. We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people. The spiritual person, however, can evaluate everything, yet he himself cannot be evaluated by anyone. For who has known the Lord’s mind, that he may instruct Him?
