A TIME TO PRAY-ABORTION MUST END

Updated: Dec 2, 2021

Hello friends. There is so much deception in this nation right now and it burdens me. I believe it’s time for concerted prayer and I’m writing to ask you to pray with me over the next several months as this important Supreme Court decision weighs in the balance.

So many things need our attention in prayer and I plan to write another blog next week outlining some of the other things I sense as well but for today let us look at this important topic.

There are many schemes of hell diverging in the earth right now and I sense we are to really stay focused. Prayer keeps us focused on God and his kingdom and less about self.

The Supreme Court decision on abortion is at the top of my prayer list. I rarely share my frustration or opinions on political topics such as this because I have a deep respect for the diversity of opinions-especially political ones.

But abortion is the exception for me.

And before I share my beliefs I want to make clear that I do not condemn those who have had abortions, so if you share this blog I want that to be clear. This blog is not about condemnation - it is about life. It is about the life that Jesus died to give all of us.

The Bible reminds us that Jesus came not into the world to condemn it, but to save it! Jesus came into this world so that we might know and experience true and abundant life! The scripture in John 10:10 reminds us of this. Jesus is the Good Shepherd that laid down his life for us. He’s the Door and the only Way to eternal life.

It’s Satan, the thief, that comes to steal, kill and destroy-not people- so let us remember they’re not the villain, even in their devilish actions and decisions. Let us keep our focus and fight in prayer, as disciples of Jesus. As we pray and share our thoughts and beliefs with others concerning this topic, let us remember not to move into a spirit of condemnation because that’s not the spirit of Jesus. We must guard our tongues and act in humility if our prayers are to be successful.

I share this blog today to provoke you to prayer and that’s my only reason. And I share my beliefs to stir you up to look closer at what you believe so that when you pray you are clear in those prayers.

MY BELIEFS AND OPINIONS CONCERNING ABORTION

  1. Killing a baby is never a woman’s right. It’s a lie and a deception from hell. I believe if more women are required to have sonograms prior to abortions, the deception of fetus vs baby would be unmasked and less abortions would occur. I also believe that if we would hear more of the horror stories from people who once worked at Planned Parenthood or from those who regret having an abortion we would not so easily defend this as a woman’s right to choose but would see it for the evil it is. And to be quite honest I’m really tired of all the talk of our rights. When we come to Christ we give up our rights- and we carry our cross.

  2. We as Christian’s should never condemn women who’ve had abortions. We must love them and support them however we can. This is not about condemning women-it’s about a child’s right to live and to be valued as a human being-just as we all desire to live and be valued.

  3. Most importantly we must remember Jesus forgives those who’ve have had abortions when they repent. Jesus came into the world not to condemn it but to save the world. All people have sinned! We all need God’s mercy and forgiveness. Repentance is linked with forgiveness and it’s not a dirty word but a centralized theme of scripture and key to experiencing God’s peace, presence and grace.

  4. Roe v Wade sanctions, murders and dehumanizes children just like slavery sanctioned, dehumanized and lynched countless African Americans at the inception of this country. Both of these atrocities were and are rooted in greed and what’s best for “me.”

  5. Abortion is a multibillion dollar industry rooted in the lust for power and greed -not love, care or support of women. Planned parenthood’s primary objective is MONEY-NOT women. This is a wicked and greedy organization, who are the primary beneficiaries of the wealth generated through abortions. Let us not forget that planned parenthood also harvest and sell the organs of these murdered children. Let that sink in!

  6. Abortion is not an answer to unwanted pregnancies. There are more families wanting to adopt children than there are children available. The adoption system is another system that needs our attention in prayer and legislative reform. This is another system where children are devalued and dehumanized in the quest for control, power and wealth. It’s wicked.

  7. ”McCorvey” who was the pro choice “Roe” became a pro life advocate and spent the rest of her life dedicated to the reversal of the Roe v Wade Supreme Court case and the overturning of it’s decision.

  8. Finally-Let us pray:

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. “Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians‬ ‭6:10-18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Let us repent and stand in the gap and pray for these babies. Let us all pray for our leaders- state and national, the justice system and especially the Supreme Court justices to have eyes to see and ears to hear God’s voice. They are appointed officials for such a time as this.

Let us pray for the women affected by abortions. Many women need healing from the trauma of the abortion experience. One of the ways that we know Satan is as the Accuser of the brethren. Even Christians who have had abortions earlier on in their lives still struggle with forgiving themselves. Let us hold them up in prayer so that they too may receive the healing they so desperately need.

And finally as we pray, let us not forget the story of Esther, who’s fellow Jews faced extermination at the hands of ungodly leaders who deceptively passed an evil law. Abortion is a spiritual evil and deception that comes down through our justice system, just like that evil edict Haman tried to use in Esther’s day. The workers of hell do not value life and hells systems work through legalities to bring death!! That’s why laws are so important. We are fighting a spiritual battle my friends that makes it’s way into the seen realm through laws.

Prayer is our weapon.

Esther‘s uncle Mordecai reminded her that if she didn’t do her duty to address the evil, God would raise up another person to deal with it. We must not shirk our duty and responsibility to pray friends. Believe me when I say I’m speaking to myself as well.

It’s time we turn to God and repent for the sin of abortion and pray for the healing of our land as 2 Chronicles 7:14 tells us. It’s time to pray for the overturning of the laws that perpetuate the genocide of children in our nation through prayer. We like Esther, were born for such a time as this, and we should never under-estimate the power our prayers hold to execute justice in the earth in the name of Jesus. That’s why he taught his disciples to pray -on earth as it is in heaven. We need to be the generation that cared enough to pray for the changing of these evil laws.

Most of all I’m asking for the fear of the Lord to fall upon the hearts and minds of people. We need the returning of this.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It’s the beginning of knowledge.

Lastly, we must never forget that the fervent prayers of the righteous truly avails much-so let’s pray together for a reversal of Roe V Wade-it’s time! Let us FERVENTLY pray in one accord and trust God to overturn this court decision and the evil of abortion in this nation, through this extremely important court decision. I encourage you to pick a time daily to pray about this-so as not to forget. We all know how the day can get away from us. I thank you in advance for praying with me concerning this.

I love you in the Lord!

Sincerely,

Dana
